I like chahhhhclate milk.

I have the expansion!!
One of my guildies had offered a solution to our cash flow problem.
At his job he gets free swag from local venders and corporate sponsors as well as stuff from his own company. One of the things he had received was a Gift card for a video game store. It had over one hundred dollars on it. He sent it to me an the wife expressly so we could get ourselves the BC. We happily agreed. Since these things have a time limit on them we wasted no time at all in running to the local store and scamin a few copies. I even grabbed the strategy guide just for giggles and I like those sorts of things. I thank you my friend and I will not turn down an opportunity to help you out in any way in game or out of it.

I have been in the outland for about 6 hours total at this point and am real close to hitting sixty-one. I have made over one hundred gold just from trash, quests and quest rewards that I can’t/won’t use. I see me having no trouble at all getting to afford the flying mount or even the epic flying mount. With my ability to grind out cash all I need now is a working understanding of the best available trash and where it is. This will come in time I’m sure so I will not be rushing it.

I am finding myself overwhelmed by the sheer number of quests in just the first area. Sure a lot are kill quests and chains but a few are more of the stuff I enjoy, like the “go here and pick this up and bring it back”. The bombing runs are the shizznit and I see myself hitting those over and over again for the fun of it. Too bad they don’t give rep or a small amount of coin. Thinking more about it they could have made the bombing run timed and if you can beat your time over and over again you should get a money reward and maybe some lewt. Hell even a hat or goggles that say you are a master bomber or something would be sweet. I like that there are in place guns and defenders of fortifications of all kinds here it really sets the mood of a grand fight for survival.

I also like the feeling of danger everywhere. The “in jeopardy’ vibe I get from the area is palpable. There is at almost no time, even in the “safe” city that you can get away from the feeling of being under attack and in a hostile environment. I do feel it has given a good mix of solo-able content and the more group-necessary content. That there is a real possibility of soloing it all the way to seventy is plain. I sure don’t want to do that but I can if I so decide to do so.

I have already replaced a lot of my armor and let me tell you, a blue chest piece I got from a quest is a ridiculously powerful item. It has double the t2 armor I think. It was also more juicy then the PVP chest epic. Crazy shit. I have yet to see a dagger worthy of replacing my Lobotomizer, but I have seen a few candidates for my off hand Thunderwood poker. I went back to this from the Electrified dagger since the proc wasn’t hitting often enough for it to be worth it. With all the new chunky stats on the new armors I have some crazy armor and stamina now I’m almost to 4k health un-buffed!! Although in the outlands where things hit harder I guess it balances out some. I am sure I will be hitting sixty one tonight and perhaps sixty-two tomorrow. At least I will try for it. I look forward to running the first new instance this weekend if I can as well.

Mordeh on the rise. Heffasita close behind.

Man what a fickle person I am. Until I can get me a copy of the BC I will be playing very little of my Rogue. I will use him for farming mats and such.

I have bee working on leveling my Warlock Mordeh. He is close to level 27 right now. I am so enjoying it. I got a hold of a macro made for grinding and it is working so well. I have been able to burn down as many as 8 mobs an just a few minutes. I’m talking 8 mobs in like less then 3 minutes fast. I can’t imagine the speed I can achieve if I was to just sit and blast through the quests especially the kill quests. I don’t think I will have too much trouble with elites as well since I can just spam out the curses, have Blue tank until he is dead then chain fear the mob. I did this on a level 26+ elite mob and survived with just one hit to me. I think he will keep me sharp for using the priest since both are squishes and need care taken not to get hit too much.

I have been able to level my priest Heffasita to level 20. It only took a few days of work and a lot of patience. I may even get to like it as a shadow priest. We will see. I also got her enchanting up to the next max of 225 and will need to level her to 35 and do an Uldamun run to get her the next levels/recipes. This will prolly wait a while and can. She only needed to be 225 to DE all the stuff up to level 60 items. If I find I have a lot of drops with Mindkiller after I get into the Outland then I will consider leveling her up to the required level. I will prolly be able to make a double box effort with my rogue as the clearing character while the priest tags along for the ride. It will most likely be cake and if I can get some guildies to help it will be that much faster.

Epics will not be shown today on account of BC.

Once again I have been slow of the mark. As I geared up for a long haul up the honor hill the Burning Crusade Expansion rolls out. On time and without too many hitches. Now the BGs are ghost towns. With barely enough people for a single game, or at off peak no BGs at all. So I am stuck with a huge stack of AB tokens I will most likely never use and a whole mess of game time wasted. Yes wasted as the fun was minimal to nonexistent and the reward nil. I have not gotten one reward since the new change to the PVP system. If it is possible to earn honor in the BC maybe I will be ok. It all depends on when I get me a copy of the exp. I will plow up to level 61 and see if the new bracket has any life in the BGs. I have seen some amazing loot drop for guildies and the quest rewards while not spectacular are level appropriate for when new 58-60s get into the Outlands. So I will most likely be shelving Mindkiller and playing my alts until I get me a copy. I have been meaning to level my enchanter to 20 so she can DE the loot I get with Mindkiller.

Very depressed I have no money to spend on my addiction.

Mine Eyes Have Seen The Glory.....Epics mmmm.

It seems my updating is getting more and more lax. I will try to do better I promise. (As if any one is actually reading this.)

I took a bit of time to grab as much cash as I could so I could learn to ride the Epik mount I had sitting in storage. It took me about a week and a half to farm up the 450g I needed to get the training. Not to bad I think. After I spent that, money just started flying in much faster then it had when I needed it. Oh well. The money will go toward good things for me any way.

I have made it to Exalted with Darnassus on Mindkiller. I got a jones over the new years weekend and decided top slam out some Elf quests. With the boost to rep being applied I just planted myself at the Nelf starting area and blew through all the quests available to me. I was getting an average of 250 rep points per quest. I started out with 1500 in Honored and blasted my way to 16770 in revered. After that I did a few other quests around felwood which pushed me real close to the mark. After buying 60g worth of runecloth I dinged EXALTED and ran over to pick up my brand new Mistsaber Mount. This was a piece of cake. I hope rep is as easy to get in the BC as it looks to be a major necessity to doing dungeons and gaining rewards.

I wasn’t really interested in doing PVP until I saw a post about how the GM weapons will last awhile in the BC. So I started to collect the required AB tokens about a week ago. This is going to get grueling. I am up to 40/80 AB tokens so halfway to my goal. I’m aiming for a GM sword, dagger and the kick ass X-bow. I do more damage per hit with my bow then with my melee. Sad. I may even shoot for the shoulders and anew helmet depending on how well I can accumulate honor. If it drags on I will cut my losses and go for the weapons. I am not sure what the BC will do to the AV and AB matches. I am hoping they will still be ok population wise but who knows. I just can’t see everyone getting a copy of the BC on or near the opening date. So honor gain might slow down to a crawl. It’s something I keep thinking about. Will this all be worth it if I keep at it long enough? I didn’t get on the PVP wagon when it changed. I was fresh off of the grind to Exalted with SP and gaining Knight rank before the changes. I was burned out on PVP so I missed the huge head start most got before hey nerfed the amount of honor gained per match/kill. Stupid me, now I'm paying for it. I don’t see that I will have much to do till I get me a copy of the BC. PVP will be my focus for awhile again till February. Maybe I’ll get my hands on a copy then.
